Jonathan William Anderson, better known as J.W. Anderson, is a British designer (from Northern Ireland) who has a fascination for tartan, conversational prints, and androgynous pieces. After all, women borrow from men's clothing and vice versa, so why not create pieces that work for both?
He's the most recent designer that cult fave high street retail chain Topshop has worked with, and we're glad to announce that some of the pieces from his collaboration have arrived in stores just this morning. (We got first dibs!)
His pieces don't veer away from his design aesthetic, like a wide variety of items inspired by youth culture and college varsity prep. From A-line boxy skirts to knit sweaters and varsity jackets, J.W. Anderson x Topshop has got it all covered. Jonathan himself said that he created his clothes to live and interact with other garments, so wearing them just the way you want to is the best way to go. We couldn't agree more.
J.W. Anderson x Topshop has 13 designs to date, but stores but will continue to bring in the rest of the collection in the coming weeks.
