Issa Pressman Demonstrates How to Style a Tonal Brown Look in Paris

There’s a style maxim that often floats around fashion TikTok: "If your outfit isn’t interesting through color, it has to be interesting through shape. And if it's not through shape, then it has to be interesting through texture."

Issa Pressman seemed to take that to heart as she stepped out onto the streets of Paris, dressed in a tonal, all-brown ensemble that leaned fully into tactile detail and clever styling.

Issa Pressman’s Chic Tonal Brown OOTD in Paris, France

At first glance, Issa's outfit reads like a perfectly coordinated two-piece set— but the top is actually a dress from Blackbough Swim, which she styled as a longline top. Its high neckline and elongated hem created a polished, streamlined silhouette, while the open sides—fastened with three sets of wooden bead loops—further emphasized the garment’s crisp lines.

Beneath the dress, she donned a pair of loose-fitting, wide-leg trousers designed with dainty floral embroidery subtly stitched into the fabric. The trousers matched in tone and added a grounded feel, balancing the skin-baring top with volume and coverage. Leaving both pieces to hang freely kept the silhouette relaxed yet well-put-together.

Accessories played a strong supporting role in this ensemble. Her choice of carrier was the Jacquemus Le Petit Bambimbola bag in croc-embossed leather. Compact, structured, and slightly glossy, it introduced a tactile contrast to the matte cotton of her clothes. Her accessories also brought texture to the outfit: layered bangles in silver, wood, and green stone, paired with oversized rings, added texture and lent the look its overall boho feel.

To further sharpen the look, Issa sported a pair of Miu Miu bayonetta sunglasses and a tight, braided ponytail.
