Six months after this exit from Dior, new speculations that Raf Simons is set to take reins over at Calvin Klein arise with the recent announcement of creative directors Francisco Costa and Italo Zucchelli bidding the label farewell.
A statement was released by the label: “A new brand direction will ultimately follow one creative vision across all categories of the business. An announcement will be made in due course.”
BOF reports that the departure of the two creative directors pave way for this new global strategy, which aims to bring together all of its brands under one creative vision. But as far as the appointment of a new creative head goes, no further announcement has been made.
