Just when we all thought Lululemon could be the next big thing to the likes of Nike or Adidas, their shares come crashing down. While there are still avid fans of the brand known for their chic yoga and yoga-inspired athletic apparel, it seems that an internal turmoil will be causing their early death. After Chip Wilson, billionaire and founder of Lululemon Athletica, stepped down from the board of directors last month, and CEO Christine Dae left the company, there are now reports that the current CFO is also retiring at the end of the fiscal year. Whatever it is that is happening to the board internally is obviously affecting the brand, big time.
What will happen to the leader of the yoga apparel business? We’ll have to wait and see, but for now let’s just hope they survive and don’t end up going down the same road as Juicy Couture.
