1. Instagram disables the accounts of celebrity photographers Marcus Hyde and Timur Emek.

Instagram has taken this necessary action after Diet Prada and several models have posted online receipts of the photographers' alleged predatory behavior and sexual harassment accusations. According to BuzzFeed News, the two photographers have violated Facebook's (which owns Instagram) sexual solicitation policies.

2. Mark Cross will soon directly offer secondhand products to its consumers.

In a rare and unlikely move expected from a luxury brand, Mark Cross has announced that they will be launching their own resale platform as an answer to the booming secondhand market. This move is the opposite of Chanel's decision to sue The RealReal, "claiming that only the storied French house can guarantee the authenticity of a Chanel handbag and not any reseller," Business of Fashion (BoF) writes.

While Mark Cross is the first luxury brand to embrace the resale market, they're not the first brand to do such a thing. Stella McCartney has been promoting the practice since 2017 by incentivizing patrons with store credit. "Working with The RealReal, the designer encouraged shoppers to sell their worn Stella McCartney garments on the platform and receive $100 in store credit to shop in Stella McCartney stores or online," BoF reports.

3. Dior is selling luxury leather AirPods case.

AirPods have become 2019's greatest flex, according to Highsnobiety, and now this luxury tech accessory will find an equally luxurious case, all thanks to Dior. The fashion house made black calfskin leather cases branded with an embossed Dior logo at its flap. The case retails for $350 or approximately P18,000.

4. Uniqlo announces upcoming collab collection with Fortnite.

Highsnobiety reports that an upcoming T-shirt collab between Uniqlo and online videogame Fortnite is on the way. This news follows the teaser posted on Uniqlo's Instagram account, which features a Llama Loot Piñata.
