3 Ways To Style Your High Cut Sneakers Allow Georgina Wilson and Liz Uy to teach you how to wear those hard-to-style babies.

There’s a sneaker epidemic going on, and lucky are the long legged beauties whose stick-thin gams can happily slip into the often bypassed high tops without worrying about chopping a good two inches off their height. But even so, these pretty beasts are not the easiest thing on earth to style. Truth be told, even the denim shorts (high waist or not) and high cut sneaks combo is getting a bit tired.

A few of our very own editors admittedly shared that their own pairs are just gathering dust as we speak. Fashion girls don’t like putting our prized possessions to waste so below, we thought of three looks that we are personally giving a shot, hopefully they’ll work for you, too.

Give your denim cut-offs a rest and roll up your boyfriend jeans instead. Doing so will show off your ankle-obscuring sneaks and at the same time add personality to your usual shirt and jeans equation. Add a crisp blazer to the mix to take it up a notch, and make it work- or date night-ready.

The reason the cozy dressing trend works is because it is always balanced with a dash of chicness. All you need really is that extra flair a designer purse or pearl studs can add to an otherwise plain sporty look. Cop Georgina’s gam-lengthening ensemble by opting for an anti-fit shirt dress, a tiny purse, and punchy-hued sunnies to go with your high cut sneakers.

If you want to take your kicks to the next level, follow Liz Uy’s lead and match it with a maxi skirt, a cropped button down, and a statement clutch. Not only will you stand out at your next event, you'll also be the only one whose feet won’t be aching from standing in 5-inch heels the entire night.
