Yes, it's possible!

The street style trend has proven to be one of the biggest fads in fashion recently. Pulling inspiration from the grunge years of the '90s and the hiphop nostalgia from the early naughts, we see bits and pieces of these in tailored, polished looks today.

In fact, local designer Brit Tripudio is making a name for designing streetwear in today's local fashion scene. He's known for edgy and risqué pieces on the runway. But if you frequent Manila Fashion Fest, you'll notice how avant-garde his pieces are. You'd think that Brit's pieces are solely made to let you earn street cred. Preview's Ning Nuñez gets extra creative with this look. She explains her ensemble is inspired by the colorful '80s. Brit's tough asymmetric blazer gets a retro spin as Ning pairs it with a colorful blouse tucked into a pleather pencil skirt. She finished off the look by slipping on a fun pair of pink slingbacks, balancing the whole outfit.

As for myself, I wore Brit's bodysuit with a lace bell sleeved top layered underneath as it highlights my penchant for mixing textures. I slipped on a pair of side-striped trousers and white trainers to keep the look polished yet relaxed. It's an outfit you can easily take from day to night!

Intrigued as to how possibilities can come to into play? Try these key Brit Tripudio pieces and breathe new life to your officewear!

Feeling a little sporty? Layer the top with a black turtleneck underneath and opt for a pair of black wide-leg trousers (and maybe some ankle boots) to fully embrace polished sportswear.

Experiment with fringe and pair this with a mustard shift dress and slip on a pair of strappy heels to conquer the day!

And for casual Fridays? Skip the skinny jeans and opt for this denim midi skirt instead. Wear it with a crisp button-down top to complete your relaxed look.
