"I have nothing to wear," is every fashion girl's cry when we look at our closet. This can immediately turn into a frantic scream in the morning when you've got less than an hour to get ready and you have no idea which skirt to pair with that top. Worst case scenario, you wind up with a lazy outfit. So, to save you from starting your day with hurried morning prep, below, we've got tips for you on how you can get dressed faster. Check them out!

1. Know what you're dressing for.

Is it an office event? A party? A date? Knowing where you're headed will give you better perspective on how you should dress up.

2. Plan your outfit the night before.

Trust us, no one wants to use their brains as early as six in the morning! Better prepare your OOTD the night before so you can just put on the outfit the next day.

3. Keep your accessories organized.

Store them per kind. Keep all your rings, bracelets, and necklaces in separate containers so you don't have to dig through your drawers finding what you want to wear.

Pro-tip: Plan even your accessories and place them by the door so you can grab them if you're pressed for time. You can always wear them on the way!

4. Renew your love for minimalism.

If you aren't able to fulfill tip #3, then maybe you should just keep your outfit simple!

5. Pick a key outfit and style around it.

Also known as the spotlight trick, choose one item of clothing that you'd want other people to notice first. Then pair it with other clothes. Be firm with your chosen spotlight item and spruce it up!
