ICYMI, the former beauty queen got married to her non-celebrity boyfriend in December 2021 and they announced their pregnancy a month after. When asked what made her say yes to the maternity shoot, Honey said that she wants to inspire others and let pregnant women know that they can wear anything. "I wanted to show that women's bodies are this miraculous. At the same time, I wanted a new direction that isn't typically seen."
This new chapter in her life is something that Honey's very excited about. The 39-year-old mentioned that she's amazed at how she can do things for another person—things that she can't do for herself. "I've already learned a lot and I bet I'll grow more once I give birth. Not too long ago, I ordered a baby closet. Even though I chose a non-toxic one, I suddenly took out each drawer, washed them with soap, and wiped them down with alcohol swabs. Then I re-folded and organized the baby's clothes one by one, which took about five hours."
"I'm really happy. I want to quickly meet the baby. I think my attitude towards life will change a lot after giving birth so I’m curious about that. 'Change' doesn't happen the way you want it to. I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of form this natural change will take," she added.
In her interview with Vogue Korea, Honey also revealed that she filmed her action scenes in One The Woman even while she was pregnant. Aside from carrying out her character in the drama, Honey also believes that she'll be able to give birth to a "wonder woman or wonder man" after overcoming it.
