H&M Reunites with Stella McCartney for a 2026 Collaboration

Two decades after their first partnership, H&M and Stella McCartney are teaming up once again for a new collection set to launch in Spring 2026. The collaboration was officially confirmed this week and is already generating buzz after a red-carpet preview at the Fashion Awards in London.

On December 1, celebrities including Emily Ratajkowski, Anitta, Amelia Gray, Yasmin Wijnaldum, Bel Priestley, Alton Mason, and Kiara Nirghin debuted pieces from the upcoming line at the Fashion Awards. The preview highlighted Stella McCartney’s signature design codes—sleek tailoring, sculptural silhouettes, and modern eveningwear—translated into accessible pieces for H&M.

Emily wore a black mini dress with draped cape detailing, while Amelia arrived in a sparkly lace dress. Anitta opted for a custom red gown featuring a dramatic looping cutout from shoulder to hem. Each look nodded to McCartney’s early-2000s archives, updated with new materials and finishes.

According to the press announcement, the 2026 drop will feature certified and responsibly sourced materials, many of them recycled—an important pillar for Stella McCartney, who has long championed animal-free and eco-conscious design.

The project also introduces a new Insights Board, a platform that brings together voices from across the fashion industry to discuss sustainability, innovation, and long-term solutions. The aim is to expand the collaboration beyond product and into meaningful industry dialogue.

“I’m thrilled to have H&M join me in creating real, lasting change,” McCartney said of the reunion. “This feels like the perfect opportunity to look at how far we’ve come—and how far we can still go.”

The Stella McCartney x H&M collection will be released in stores and online in Spring 2026, with more details expected in the coming months.
