Binibining Pilipinas 2022 candidate Herlene Nicole Budol looked regal during the pageant's Grand Santacruzan held on Saturday, May 14, 2022, in Araneta City, Cubao. She dressed up as "Pamayanan Guadalupe" for the pageant's Flores de Mayo tradition.
She wore a pastel pink and lavender Mascota called "Guadalupe" created by Zamboanga-based fashion designer Geronie Labora. A Mascota is a traditional outfit from Zamboanga popularly worn in the 1900s.

In an Instagram post after the event, Herlene shared more details about her Filipiniana outfit. The aspiring beauty queen said it was her manager Wilbert Tolentino who paid for her gown, which was worth PHP150,000. "Ginastusan etong creation na sobrang detalyado sa halagang P150,000. Excited akong suotin ang creation ni Geronie Labora all the way from the city of flowers, Zamboanga City!"

Herlene also thanked the team behind her look: fashion designer Raybien Maglonzo, stylist Omar Sali, hairstylist Anthony Buenaobra, makeup artist Mary Letim, mentor Rodgil Flores, and motivator Madam Inutz.
Toward the end of her post, Herlene thanked Wilbert and her family for their unwavering support as she vies for a title in the Binibining Pilipinas 2022 pageant. "At higit sa lahat, yung tao nag tiwala at binigyan ako ng opportunidad at pinush ako sumalang sa prestiyosong patimpalak, si sir @sirwil75, para ma-achieve lahat ng aking pangarap sa buhay para sa pamilya ko, lalo na kay Tatay Oreng at Nanay Bireng."
