When Christopher Bailey sent Cara Delevingne down the Burberry Autumn/Winter 2014 runway in a monogrammed blanket shawl, I knew it was the only accessory I needed to be trés chic. While the piece on its own had everyone saying, “I want that!”, it was the initials that gave it that extra punch (perhaps a “rich lady” vibe because it seems the affluent are fond of the monogram, don’t you agree?). Now that it’s the Menswear Autumn/Winter 2015 collection’s turn to present, Burberry Prorsum is giving us another reason why we shouldn’t snub this show at all—even if the pieces are designed for, well, men.
The British luxury fashion house is extending its Runway Made To Order (RMTO) collection to Menswear that will include scarves, outerwear pieces and bags, available with personalized engraved nameplates. I’m personally eyeing those scarves—for myself, yes, why not—as they are a reliable finishing touch to most ensembles. And seeing that paisley (big this year, trust us) will be one of the collection’s featured prints, it looks like I’ll be building outfits based on that. That fashion-girl premise aside, you’re likely to score a number of great gift ideas for the significant other.
So if I were you, I’d stick around to watch the Burberry Prorsum Menswear A/W 2015 fashion show via live streaming right here at 8:30pm tonight:
