Gather hundreds of images by the most world-renowned fashion photographers of all time, and what do you get? The history of fashion, basically.
In October 2014, Rizzoli New York made this possible, publishing an album of fashion photographs shot by Patrick Demarchelier, Mario Testino, Juergen Teller and other key players in the industry. This book contains nearly 200 images featuring Louis Vuitton products, from its advertising campaigns to fashion articles that were released in A-list magazines such as Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. With the primary intent of capturing the trends of the day, Louis Vuitton Fashion Photography not only managed to showcase the history of the brand itself but also of the fashion world in general.
