Upon his departure from Hermès, Christopher Lemaire joins global brand Uniqlo as its creative director following his successful collaborations with the Japanese brand. He now leads a research and development team in Paris dedicated for an entirely new line called Uniqlo U.

Bringing Parisian chic to the oriental brand, Christopher is slated to release its first collection this October 14. Still following the Lifewear line philosophy of high-quality and classic pieces, Uniqlo U promises a collection of an array of innovative pieces in terms of cuts, designs, and silhouettes.

Christopher’s line features 50 garments for men and women that include outerwear, sweaters, tops, skirts, pants, and dresses available in muted tones of white, black, army green, deep blue and red, and brown.
