ICDYK, Heart calls the late Sen. Miriam her "mentor, angel, and second mom".

There's no doubt that Heart Evangelista is living the best life any fashion girl could ever wish for. I mean, did you see her recent Emily in Paris moment or her photo op with K-drama actress Song Hye Kyo? Aside from spending time in the fashion capital of the world, Heart's Parisian itinerary is filled with invitations to watch collection presentations of international designers and calls to join gala nights and get-togethers with various brands.

With her social calendar filled to the brim, Heart knows she needs to pack only the best outfits to leave a lasting impression. Heart may be dressed to the nines in designer clothing, but the style star doesn't forget to bring Filipino talent to the forefront as well. Case in point: Heart wore this Cheetah Rivera creation to one of the fashion shows she attended.

LOOK: Heart Evangelista Wears a Modern Mini Terno by Cheetah Rivera

At first glance, the dress is already jaw-droppingly gorgeous. It has a calming blue palette, is adorned by tiny 3D blooms and butterflies, and comes in a short length that's perfect for summer. You'll even love the subtle mod deets of the frock: the Peter Pan collar and the tiny white buttons. Heart even paired the dress with white platform sandals by Giuseppe Zanotti to lean in the retro vibe of the dress.

Look more closely and you'll fall in love with the details! Cheetah Rivera reveals that the dress is her modern take on Filipiniana, and "a tribute and a celebration of the strength of a Filipina." Cheetah worked with local artisans to realize her contemporary interpretation of the classic terno. The result is a "floral appliqué micro-mini dress adorned with embroidered “mariposa” of varying shades and sizes".

If you're smitten by the design, prepare to melt even more as Cheetah shares in a Facebook post that the dress is actually named "Santiago". Yup, as in the late Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago, whom the Heart refers to as her "mentor, angel, and second mom". Aww!

Cheetah ends her post writing, "Watch as “Santiago” [flies] and unfold as worn by the one and only @iamhearte. Mabuhay ang Terno! Mabuhay ang lahing Filipino!"
