Hot pink and magenta may run fashion feeds (and the year!) but out of its bright-hued fringes, a new pastel obsession is popping out: purple.
With its more subdued shade, the lilac palette is Barbiecore’s dainty sibling with a penchant for styling’s sugary side. But just as its pink-hued trend predecessor, trust the most style-savvy to spin it onto downright chic ensembles. Fronting its case are none other than Filipino style mavens Heart Evangelista and Jinkee Pacquiao, who’ve recently brandished shades of purple in opposite corners of the globe.

Pairing a wool-and-cashmere knit turtleneck with an A-line skirt from the same brand, the style star summed up the ensemble in an adorable albeit appropriate way: “Did somebody say UBE? [purple heart and unicorn emojis]”

But even with the lilac tones, Heart isn’t without her customary accessory of choice: the Hermès bag. This time, she was out and about with the Kelly in Rouge, a hot splash of scarlet red among her purple-colored coordinates.

Korean winters can be a lively season, and Jinkee certainly dressed for the occasion. While on a family trip to Seoul, the socialite layered up with her own head-to-toe purple look, topped with a season-appropriate coat.
Wearing a V-neck knit top from Versace and wide-leg pants from Australia’s Country Road, Jinkee’s chilly pièce de résistance was a shaved faux fur coat, a creation from New York City luxury vegan brand Apparis.
