Unless you’ve been living under a rock, then you know very well how much Heart Evangelista and Jinkee Pacquiao share an ardent love for all things designer. The two celebrities are known for donning head-to-toe designer looks, whether or not they’ve got a special occasion (just check out their pambahay looks). And so, when these two well-bred fashionistas coincidentally match outfits or wear the same things, you bet they have our attention.
The two have recently been spotted flashing a pair of bejeweled mules, which we discovered are the Dina Gem Mules from popular shoe designer Sophia Webster. Heart wore them with simple blue jeans and a white ruffled blouse during her shopping jaunts in Sorsogon. But she loves them so much that she didn’t even remove them during her R&R time!
On the other hand, Jinkee has been wearing the mules a lot this month, and she paired them with her signature fresh frocks. Her recent OOTD? A retro-inspired dress with red polka dots!
But what exactly is it about these mules that made both Heart and Jinkee attracted to them?
The Dina refers to Sophia Webster’s vinyl strap design embellished with gems, and it’s seen across various kinds of shoes—from slides, sandals, to high heels. The Dina Gem Mule, in particular, features a trendy double strap in the design’s signature vinyl material. The soles are crafted with leather, and both Heart and Jinkee copped a pair in the faintest pink shade. A trained fashion eye will notice that the mules heels are, in fact, curved. Curved heels were a popular trend back in Spring 2019, as seen on the runways of Prada, Fendi, and Dior.

Although 2020 shoe trends are decidedly more linear (like square-toed mules), there are still traces of the curved heel on chunky boots from Anna Sui and the mary janes of Moschino. That said, perhaps Heart and Jinkee aren’t ready to let go of the more dramatic shoe styles of Fall 2020 and just yet, and are using the Dina Gem Mules as a fun transition piece.
Plus, if you think about it, these cute shoes aren’t just trendy but comfy, too—the heels are like a cross between stilettos and block heels. TBH, aren’t we all looking for a little comfort given these stressful times? Props to Heart and Jinkee for finding shoes to answer our prayers. If you’d like to get your own pair, they’re actually on sale on the official website, and the price has been slashed from P31,100 to P19,000.
