This Luxe Watermelon Charm Is Heart Evangelista's Latest Bag Obsession

Heart Evangelista’s love for all things luxury extends even to her selection of bag charms.

Since charms became a trend last year, the style star has embraced them as a fun way to spruce up her rotation of designer arm candy. Lately, one piece in particular seems to be her favorite: a plush watermelon charm that she’s been pairing with her work bags.

We took the liberty of ID-ing the exact charm and, as it turns out, the unassuming piece is from Italian luxury house Fendi. The design features a slice of watermelon suspended from a black leather strap, which is fastened to a silver-toned metal clip that allows it to be attached to bags or other accessories.

In her recent Instagram posts, Heart has styled the charm with her emerald green Sac De Jour bag from Saint Laurent and her stone-grey Margaux tote from The Row.

As described on the luxury brand’s website, the charm is crafted from 100% mink fur—a material sourced from the small, semi-aquatic animal prized for its dense, velvety undercoat and glossy guard hairs. Long favored in luxury fashion, mink is celebrated for its exceptional softness, insulating quality, and lustrous finish.

Its rarity and craftsmanship naturally drive up the cost. This palm-sized piece, for instance, comes with a premium price tag of £810, or roughly P62,486.
