Heart Evangelista is often on Instagram wearing luxury clothes from Gucci, Chanel, Balmain, Carolina Herrera, Hermès, among others. But in her interview in Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho's May 24, 2020 episode, Heart revealed that she also wears fashion pieces bought on the cheap.
She said, "A lot of people think, lahat ng suot ko mahal. Actually, high-end, low-end po ako... Marunong lang talaga akong mag-ayos." She added, "It was me saying hindi mo dapat isipin kung ano ang iniisip ng iba tungkol sa iyo. Gawin mo kung anong gusto mong gawin, basta wala kang masamang ginagawa. Kumbaga, maarte ako, pero mabuti akong tao."

The 35-year-old GMA-7 actress also disclosed that some of her expensive clothes are gifts from brands. It's no secret that one of the perks of being a celebrity is that you receive gifts from local and international brands, in a public-relations practice called celebrity seeding. Sometimes, fashion houses send their celebrity clients some gifts.
Heart confirmed, "Yes, yung iba. Yung iba, loan." The actress said she has been wearing those gifts in her TikTok videos as a way to show her gratitude. She told Jessica Soho, "Nakaka-ease siya ng anxiety. I feel productive kasi gumagana yung utak mo, nagiging creative ka. Pampalipas oras, pampasaya, and marami ka ring makikilalang mga tao na deserving din for their talent na you don't know. Hindi sila artista pero nagiging viral sila."
Celebrities also wear loaned or borrowed clothes from brands, which are coursed through their personal stylists. "I guess as an artist on social media, you have a lot of people that send you clothes. Like for me—from Paris sometimes, from the States. So I felt by doing na this, this TikTok, I can wear all the clothes na binigay nila."
The same goes for her accessories. In a previous interview, Heart revealed that she was never picky about jewelry pieces. Heart said, "When I travel, I usually bring all my fake jewelry. Actually, that's my biggest secret!" She added, "Hindi po balon ang pera ko, wala akong private jet." The actress said that, if an accessory looks good and sparks a connection, even if it's fake, wear it like it were a million-dollar bauble.
