Model Hannah Locsin made buzz this week as she made her debut at Milan Fashion Week. Not only did she make a statement appearance with her chic French girl bob, but she was also the first homegrown Filipina to ever walk for Gucci. This event is her latest feat in the international scene as she's also appeared in both London and Paris Fashion Weeks.
But how exactly did the model get cast for the show?
Post debut, the 23-year-old, who was understandably still over the moon about walking for the iconic brand, shared her casting journey to her almost 18,000 followers on Instagram. The post has seven slides in total and it includes a backstage photo of her and fellow models, her actual runway appearance, some go-see polaroids, and ends with a behind-the-scenes video of the pre-show and how her now iconic lime green dress was constructed.
She also took this opportunity to thank several people behind the milestone. She expressed her gratitude towards the Gucci team, the casting team, and her whole Why Not Models family for the opportunity.
We're pretty sure that this is only the start of the young model's bright future. We have no doubt that she's going to be adding more impressive things in her already stellar portfolio.
Keep soaring, Hannah!
