Besides showcasing the key trends from its Autumn 2016 collection, H&M redefines what it is to be a "lady" in its latest campaign. Set to duo Lion Babe's version of Tom Jones' "She's a Lady," the fashion film features transgender actress Hari Nef, boxer Fatima Pinto, '70s icon Lauren Hutton, one half of Lion Babe Jillian Hervey, Design Army's chief creative officer Pum Lefebure, models Adwoa Aboah, Neelam Gill, and Paloma Elsesser, and multi-hyphenates Cajsa Wessberg, Pernille Teisbaek, and Arvida Byström.
The different women are seen in real-life activities where their characteristics are highlighted: entertaining, opinionated, off-beat, fearless, bad-ass, independent, free-willed. At the same time, the campaign zeroes in on diversity in all aspects—from age and ethnicity to body hair, hair style, and body type. It's a celebration of women and their uniqueness.
