Attracting good luck and warding off evil has never been this luxurious. With the things happening around the world lately, having a bit of protection (or at least the thought of it) can't hurt! We don’t have to be into mystical beliefs, amulets, and talismans (à la The Vampire Diaries) to enjoy the charms from Bisou Jewelry. We have to admit though that that’s how it started.
Hindu owner/designer of Bisou, Jasmin Dargani, grew up with a superstitious mother who never let her leave the house without a religious bracelet to guard her throughout the day. Oftentimes these amulets were simple charms held together with a thread which she would try to enhance by adding stickers. Years later, decorating these trinkets morphed into a business, as people started buying the pieces straight off of her wrists.
Bisou Jewelry was born. Coined from a French word which means “kiss,” each bracelet’s goal is to give a “kiss of good luck” to its wearer. The young brand aims to modernize age-old designs into wearable art by creating a gamut of dazzling good luck charms using an eclectic mix of fine diamonds, 14-karat gold, sterling silver, and black matte onyx.
If you’re as intrigued by her products as we are, drop by her Private Winter Collection Trunk Show this Friday, December 21, at #2303 Morado St. Dasmarinas Village, Makati.
