Nivea recently partnered with international fashion label, Mango, to launch the former's latest body lotion, Nivea Express Hydration. They're taking this approach claiming that enviably healthy skin is the best complement to your sartorial choices.
This latest innovation from Nivea contains the Hydra IQ active ingredient that addresses the needs of normal to dry skin, helping achieve optimum moisture supply. It also helps repair the eight signs of dry skin—dryness, redness, roughness, tightness, flaking, dullness, itching and peeling—leaving skin soft and supple.
The two brands’ initiative to promote beauty and fashion hand-in-hand may be nothing new, but it's certainly attention-grabbing. Mango and Nivea up the ante by taking their campaign to yet another trending medium, Facebook. Through Team Yehey, the brands have developed an application, Glam Board Express, that lets you express your style by creating your own fashion/beauty advertorial.
Using product images from Mango’s Autumn/Winter 2011 Collection, users can come up with their glam outfits and lay it out in a neat collage and include a photo of yourself, too. It can be quite addicting, putting together different outfits especially if you’re choosing from a selection as wide as their database of shoes, bags and accessories, spanning day wear through evening wear.
To encourage participants to create daily outfits, Nivea will be awarding top looks with special gift packs daily and a weekly draw bestows Mango gift certificates on a lucky gal! All you have to do is submit your Glam Board and invite your friends to vote for your entry! The contest will commence on Thursday, August 18, 2011, but you can already start creating your glam boards.
