"Just so you know, I. DONโ€™T. CARE. WHAT. YOU. THINK. OF. ME."

It's no secret Geneva Cruz isn't one to shy away from her haters—especially those who comment on her posts or respond to her stories. Her epic responses to body-shaming and ageist remarks are pretty empowering. Unfortunately, her positivity does not appear to deter trolls from leaving unsolicited comments on her social media.

While on vacation in Boracay, the singer and actress shared a series of stunning photos of herself in sexy swimsuits that flaunted her toned body. One netizen, on the other hand, couldn’t help but leave a comment telling her to "cover up." She didn't let this one slide, and called out the commenter in an Instagram post with a lengthy statement for all her followers to see.

Part of her post reads: “Yesterday, I was tagged by a female follower on a beach cover-up that isn’t my style. I appreciate your concern, Miss, but just because a fashionista wears something, it should be what I should be wearing too. Di ka na nakuntento sa comment mo halatang bitter ka talaga. Just so you know, I. DON’T. CARE. WHAT. YOU. THINK. OF. ME. I will wear a swimsuit on the beach or at home if I want to. NO-ONE SHOULD BE SHAMED for wearing proper swimwear.”

She adds, “To those of you who are annoyed that I like to flaunt my body, It would be my pleasure if you decide to unfollow me. I already said in the past that I would wear what I want until my breasts are down to my knees. And to those of you who get inspired to give their bodies more love because of my posts, I am glad I’m able to do that. I’d rather have followers who see me ‘beyond the surface.'

"I am never going to be everyone’s cup of tea, and that’s alright with me. Thanks and have a wonderful Thursday!”

Aside from this, she also received another mean comment from a netizen saying, “Ano ba yan? Di nalang mag????” Geneva then replied, telling the user, “You’re cute when you’re pissed. LOL!”
