Freeway has always been known to pay tribute to our country’s National Artists via Freeway Art—a twice a year collection that features the works of different national artists translated into wearable fashion.
This season and the 10th of their National Artist Collector’s Series presents no other than Filipino Master for Visual Arts—Juan Luna—known for his works like Spolarium, The Death of Cleopatra, Blood Compact, and many others. (Ed's note: He won the most prestigious awards from Exposición Nacional de Bellas Artes (National Demonstration of Fine Arts) in Madrid.)
Freeway presents the works of Juan Luna—El Flautista, I am Cold, Una Dama Francesca, Espana y Filipinas, Fencing Positions, Various Subjects, and A Roman—in a variety of pieces that are flattering to women like shift dresses, draped and knitted tops, printed shirts, and even jumpsuits. Luna’s work was not only translated into wearable art but Freeway has also come up with a variety of gift items that feature his work like tote bags, iPhone 5 cases, and more.
Be sure to visit the nearest Freeway store to shop the recent collection.
