Folded & Hung hit the streets once again for Streetcast Act 2, the grand fashion show that brings together 100 models with standout personal style.
Back in 2007, the first ever Streetcast celebrated individuality with the original concept of casting stylish people literally from the streets. This year, F&H celebrated its 10th year anniversary with 100 models from an open invitation casting.
The models worked the runway with 4 different looks from F&H's Holiday 2008 Street Collection. Fresh and colorful ensembles for “Lollipop” were embellished with funky button-eyed dolls, while statement belts created stylish silhouettes out of checks and plaids in “Waisted-Hicks.” Meanwhile, it was all about volume and shine as “Melted Metals” played with a palette of brown and gray.
For last look, designer Ivarluski Aseron presented “Knight Out,” his special collection for Folded & Hung. Dresses in shiny black, brown, and silver were adorned with leather, studs, and chains, along with flashes of metallic blue, gold, and red. The look also featured flashy leg wear and fancy heels – lacy patterned tights were worn over metallic leggings and paired with silver booties.
Among the 100 models were celebrities and fashion personalities like Tim Yap, Mylene Dizon, Paolo Paraiso, Maja Salvador, Phoemela Barranda, and Preview magazine's JR Isaac. Folded & Hung muse Claudine Barretto walked the ramp with the brand's head honcho Ronald Pineda at the end of the show.
