The Flabelus x Sari Lazaro Pop-Up Makes a Strong Case for Tropical Dressing

Spanish footwear label Flabelus strengthens its local presence with a pop-up at the R2 Level of Power Plant Mall in Rockwell Center, Makati, in collaboration with Sari Lazaro Studio.

The month-long event brings together Flabelus’ handcrafted footwear alongside Sari Lazaro’s contemporary ready-to-wear designs.

Founded in 2020, Flabelus has become synonymous with its modern interpretation of the classic espadrille, handcrafted using traditional techniques. Meanwhile, homegrown label Sari Lazaro Studio is known for its elevated line of casual apparel, one marked by clean silhouettes, embroidery, and artisanal finishes.

"Partnering with Flabelus felt like a natural fit because we share many of the same values. Both brands celebrate craftsmanship, timeless design, and the people behind the work," designer Sari Lazaro-Tiu shared with the press.

For the Flabelus team, the collaboration was born from the strong reception the brand has received in the Philippines.
