Five Talents, One Pre-pfw Party Five young designers celebrate their upcoming PFW shows.

Bright young Filipino designers Enrico Carado, Happy Andrada, Maricar Kobayashi, Yako Reyes, and Jona Ballaran all got together last Saturday at Eivissa Super Club in Tomas Morato to celebrate their upcoming stints at Philippine Fashion Week (PFW), which is only a few days away.

These fresh Filipino talents are extremely eager and excited to be part of PFW Holiday 2010, which starts on May 26 and culminates on June 2. They've been hard at work tweaking and finalizing their respective collections for all of Manila to see.

Just among these five creative minds, there is already a lot to look forward to. We know that bag designer Yako Reyes took inspiration from Hollywood's “King of Cool” Steve McQueen for his lineup of sleek bags, while half-Filipina, half-Japanese designer Maricar Kobayashi's chiffon creations were inspired by a poem by Ros Shrapnel entitled “Four Season of Sentience.”
