Jerry Tieng, a Filipino photographer, is calling out to women aged 18 to 80 who are interested for a nude photoshoot. But hey—before all violent reactions, you’re gonna want to hear why exactly he’s doing it.
In a Facebook status posted just two days ago, the local lensman expressed his disappointment about how society perceives only a certain standard of sexiness as beautiful. In hopes of changing this, he’s reaching out to people in the photography industry and to a hundred women volunteers to work hand-in-hand in developing a project that celebrates all body types.
Ideally, 100 women of different shapes and sizes will be paired with pro photographers for an artistically executed nude photoshoot. “The shoot will be private, supported by mostly women in production set design, makeup, lights, and, of course, a few [of] our best lady photographers,” says Tieng.
As of this writing, a total of 18 models and 13 photographers have already pledged to take part in the movement.
