1. Fendi will hold a fashion show as a tribute to Karl Lagerfeld.

Following the presentation of Karl Lagerfeld's last collection for Fendi, the Italian house plans a bigger homage to their late creative director. Fendi will be staging a fashion show in Rome this coming July 4 featuring Karl's creations during his 54-year tenure with the brand. The collection will also be exhibited in Rome. As of the moment, Fendi has not announced Karl's successor as head designer.

2. H&M collaborates with South African designer Palesa Mokubung.

H&M is teaming up with Palesa Mokubung, the Swedish retailer's first South African designer collaboration. Palesa heads Mantsho label, meaning black is beautiful in her native Sesotho language. The collection features Palesa's signature vibrant fabrics, bold and edgy designs with distinct silhouettes and structures will soon be available in all South African stores as well as exclusive flagship stores around the world and all H&M online markets starting August 15, 2019.

3. Ralph Lauren introduces shirts made from recycled bottles.

Ralph Lauren is the latest house to launch its environment-friendly initiative. The American brand "has committed to removing at least 170 million plastic bottles from landfills and oceans by 2025," Highsnobiety reports. But apart from this, Ralph Lauren reimagines their iconic Polo shirts with thread made from recycled bottles and dyed using a zero-water process. They claim to make the Earth Polos with average of 12 recycled bottles "and done in collaboration with First Mile, an organization focused on sustainability and positive social impact across the globe."

5. Vivienne Westwood is working on a sneaker collection with Asics.

Vivienne Westwood is getting into sneaker culture, teaming up with shoe brand Asics for a five-piece capsule collection. The designer will be dropping its first two limited-edition kicks on April 27, with the other three debuting in July. Expect to see Asics' classic sneaker silhouettes, reinvented with Vivienne's signature squiggle print she first launched at her Fall 1981 collection.
