A new guild of designers is in town and they're bringing Fashion Watch back. The Council of Fashion Designers of the Philippines (CFDP), established just recently and composed of Lulu Tan-Gan, Arcy Gayatin, Ito Curata, Joey Samson, Ivarluski Aseron, Jojie Lloren, with Inno Sotto as adviser and consultant, is reviving the Fashion Watch Quartet, a fashion show series originally created by Sotto and Richard Tann to serve as an avenue for Filipino design talents to showcase their work.
Twenty designers will showcase their Holiday 2012 and Spring/Summer 2012 collections from March to November of this year at the Makati Shangri-La. These designers—JC Buendia, Jerome Lorico, Len Nepomuceno-Guiao, Jun Escario, Philip Rodriguez, Patrice Ramos-Diaz, Gian Romano, Lulu Tan-Gan, Joey Samson, Ivarluski Aseron, Dennis Lustico, OJ Hofer, Arcy Gayatin, Ito Curata, Joel Escober, Alex Bitong, James Reyes, Ferdi Abuel, Norman Noriega, and Jojie Lloren—presented a preview of their Holiday 2012 collections yesterday to show us what's in store for the resurgence of Fashion Watch Quartet.
Stay tuned to Style Bible for more information about the schedule of the shows.
