Fashion Watch 2011: Lulu Tan-gan Thirties-inspired wear from the knit duenna.

Season after season, Lulu Tan-Gan delivers collections that offer plenty of resort wear choices for her jet-setting clientele. Starting from her métier as the Creative Director of TAN-GAN to the handing down of reins to Solenn Heussaff as the brand's House Designer, TAN-GAN fills up the closet and luggages of many cosmopolitan ladies, who prefer to lounge and luxuriate in tasteful knits during their holidays.

For TAN-GAN's Holiday 2011 collection for Fashion Watch, Lulu harked back to the '30s for silhouette inspiration. Sleeves are cut in the relaxed dolman manner, while skirts are cut knee-length, tapered towards the knee and flared just so to best showcase the womanly form. But to balance the mature silhouettes, the palette is decidedly young and cheery: neon yellows, bright pinks, and lime greens. Plenty of choices for vacation wear here, as well as evening ensembles—dressed up with eye-catching accessories, the long knit dresses make for refreshing alternatives to the silks and satins of evening wear.
