1. Vetements' new shoes are literally glowing.
Vetements is making an adult version of your favorite light-up shoes from childhood as part of their Fall 2019 collection. The streetwear brand's luminous pumps bear a reflective material (similar to those typically used for construction), which causes the shoe to look like it's been lit up. "The effect is, of course, one that seems almost extraterrestrial with its luminous finish," says Hypebae.com.

2. Alexander Wang is releasing a collection in collaboration with Trojan.
Just in time for #PrideMonth, Alexander Wang is launching a full collection in partnership with Trojan. Aptly called Protect Your Wang, it includes shirts, caps, socks, and even condoms. "[This collection] is a continuation of the brands’ commitment to supporting the LGBTQ community and celebrating Pride," says the brand's official Instagram account. This initiative will also benefit the LGBT Center of New York.

3. Kate Spade will donate over $1 million to mental health organizations.
In light of the recent passing of renowned designer Kate Spade, her namesake company is donating over $1 million to causes that advocate mental health awareness and suicide prevention.

4. Virgil Abloh debuts his first collection for Louis Vuitton.
Virgil Abloh's first menswear collection showcases a polished vision of the Louis Vuitton man, striking a perfect balance between casual and formal underlined with desirable luxury. Under his helm, Virgil sees the modern man in hip tailoring that takes inspiraton from '90s Helmut Lang, with references that trace back to Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie, and even The Wizard of Oz.

5. Power-walking is the cool new model walk.
Forget the glamorous strut! AALTO's runway show in Milan had an interesting turn of events. The brand's head designer, Tuomas Merikosk, sent models down the catwalk in bright, sports-themed looks while power-walking—or, as Fashionista.com puts it, "[wiggling] with a sense of urgency."
