From Rimowa's clear luggage to J.Crew's relaunch to Gucci's new website, here's everything you need to know in the world of fashion. 

1. Rimowa released a clear suitcase designed by Off-White's Virgil Abloh.

Rimowa is about to hit the streetwear trifecta. The German luggage label partnered with Off-White for its latest suitcase iteration following the brand's successfull collaborations with Los Angeles-based brand Anti Social Social Club and New York's Supreme. Rimowa enlisted Virgil Abloh to create perhaps the brand's biggest product yet: transparent polycarbonate suitcases. Virgil explains the logic behind the design to Business of Fashion. "The suitcase he created for Rimowa is transparent in order to let consumers participate in the design process, much as he has with some of his recent sneaker designs for Nike."

2. J.Crew will relaunch this fall.

After a series of lows (layoffs, store closures, and losing Jenna Lyons, its creative director), J.Crew is ready to relaunch. Racked reports that the brand will bring new, expanded collections that will celebrate diversity. "The company wouldn’t share additional details about what this new J.Crew will look like, although we can expect the lower prices and quicker turnaround on trends," former CEO and current chair Mickey Drexler promised last year before stepping down from his executive position. Additionally, "J.Crew president and COO Michael Nicholson said the relaunch will include a new loyalty program that will be based on points." It's a system that J.Crew will be adapting after the success it brought to its sister brand Madewell.

3. Moda Operandi ventures out into menswear.

According to the Business of Fashion, "Luxury trunk show and e-commerce company Moda Operandi is expanding into menswear, in a bid to tap a growing market that will support its international expansion plans." This follows the company's expansion to home goods and fine jewelry in the last two years. "Starting on June 22, shoppers on will be given the option to enter mirror-image women’s or men’s sites (the latter will be visually distinguished by a lack of the retailer’s signature pink) and pre-order the men’s spring 2019 collections from 50 brands as they come off the runway in Paris, Milan, London and New York. In addition, visitors will be able to shop Moda Operandi’s in-season offering from the pre-fall and autumn 2018 collections," BOF adds.

4. Here are all the winners from the CFDA awards.

Last monday, the biggest names in fashion gathered at the Brooklyn Museum for the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Fashion Awards "to celebrate the accomplishments of the year's best U.S.-based designers, as voted on by fashion industry professionals," Fashionista writes.

5.Gucci launched a new site that's all about sustainability and transparency.

Gucci's new website Gucci Equilibrium is "designed to connect people, planet, and purpose." It is part of the brand's 10-year plan for a comprehensive sustainability and transparency strategy within and outside the company. The site "will be used as a communication tool for the 13,000 Gucci employees to complement a new company-wide programme that will allow every member of staff to dedicate one percent of their working time to volunteering in local communities," British Vogue reports.
