The Victoria & Albert Museum will be highlighting the work of Christian Dior for its next fashion exhibit. The show will feature the house's history and the legacy left by the iconic designer and the six artistic directors that succeeded him, including the luxury brand's present director, Maria Grazia Chiuri. The exhibit will open in February and will run until July 2019. It will be the museum's biggest exhibit since Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty

2. J. Mendel files for bankcruptcy.

Eveningwear brand J. Mendel has recently filed for Chapter 11 protection in U.S. bankruptcy court in New York. Doing so will let the brand restructure and find renewed financial stability in the midst of the brand's current struggles over debts and unpaid bills.

3. Jacquemus launches a menswear line.

Simon Porte Jacquemus unveils his first menswear collection called Gadjo, which translates to "a man who belongs to no community." The term is also a southern French slang that means boy. The designer describes his new collection as "the much younger brother of the Jacquemus woman," according to Business of Fashion. His collection includes silk tracksuits, soccer T-shirts, and sporty knitwear.

4. Chanel reveals its net worth.

For the first time in its 108-year history, Chanel released its earnings report. It reportedly raked in $9.62 billion in sales, 11 percent higher from last year. Its operating profit was $2.69 billion and allocated a whopping $1.46 billion on marketing last year. "We realized it was time to put the facts on the table as to exactly who we are: a $10 billion dollar company with very strong financials, plus all the means and ammunition at our disposal to remain independent," Philippe Blondiaux, Chanel's Chief Financial Officer shares in an interview with Times.

The Sun's Harriet Davey explains that Meghan Markle (and even some celebrities) choose shoes that are a size bigger to avoid blisters and swelling since they often have to stand up for a long period of time. She adds, "The swelling can cause blisters and in the long run bunions."
