1. Ambush is now available in Manila!
Ambush, a jewelry-turned-streetwear brand founded by Korean-American designer Yoon Ahn (who is also appointed by Kim Jones as Dior Homme's head jewelry designer!) is now available in Manila! What originally started as a passion project became an instant fave among celebrities like Kanye West, BTS' RM, Rihanna, and more. Yoon's take on streetwear gained the nods of the biggest names in fashion, including Anna Wintour, who reviewed her work as one of LVMH Prize's finalists in 2017. Ambush's Wave collection is now available at Akimbo, GF Uptown Mall, BGC.
2. Fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh passes away.
The fashion world mourns the death of legendary fashion photographer, Peter Lindbergh, 74. He was renowned for his black-and-white portraits. "He redefined standards of beauty, refusing to curtail to the glossy, retouched perfection that pervades some magazines and social media. Instead, he focused on his subject's humanity and essence," Harper's Bazaar UK writes.

3. These SSI, Inc. brands have signed the Fashion Pact for a greener Earth.
Several brands under the SSI Group, Inc., such as Salvatore Ferragamo, Ermenegildo Zegna, Burberry, Gap Inc., Giorgio Armani, Hermes, Inditex, Prada, PVH Corp., Ralph Lauren, Stella McCartney, and Tapestry have signed the Fashion Pact. This confirms their commitment in protecting the planet. These fashion brands have all set their goals to reduce their environmental impact in the fashion industry. This includes three key areas they will focus on, namely: 1) to stop global warming; 2) restore biodiversity, and; 3) prevent single-use plastics.
