Here's a rundown of everything new in the fashion scene.

1. "Nanoinfluencers" are on the rise.

Nanoinfluencers are people who have at least 1000 followers on social media and are willing to advertise in exchange of free products or small commissions. The New York Times writes that "their lack of fame is one of the qualities that make them approachable. When they recommend a shampoo or a lotion or a furniture brand on Instagram, their word seems as genuine [like an] advice from a friend."

2. Off-White is selling a $465 beach towel.

Priced at approximately P25,000, the Lake beach towel is included in Off-White's Spring 2019 collection and is already available for pre-order. It bears a full graphic print design and was constructed using only cotton.

3. Ralph Lauren has been granted knighthood for his services in the fashion industry.

Ralph Lauren is the first American fashion designer to have been made Honorary Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire. This is due to his contributions in the realms of fashion, business, and philanthropy over the last 50 years.

4. This exhibit is a tribute to Rodarte's founding owners.

The National Museum of Women in the Arts curated a special exhibit of Kate and Laura Mulleavy's contributions in the world of fashion. The sisters behind the Rodarte house were selected for the NMWA's first fashion exhibit for independently owning and operating the label since its inception.

5. This ring is made entirely of diamonds.

Apple's head designer, Jony Ive, designed a ring made purely out of diamonds. It goes up for auction this December, expected to sell for $150,000 to $250,000. The ring is described to have between 2000 to 3000 facets, which has never been seen before on a single piece. The interior of the ring will be cylindrically cut out for the desired smoothness using a micrometer thick water jet.
