A Fine Arts graduate at the University of Santo Tomas, Gerry is also known to many as a stylist, a professor, and an occasional photographer.

"In the shows that we did together for Philippine Fashion Week, he was always the coolest when everyone else was so stressed and tensed,” says fellow local designer, Arnold Galang. “He has his ways with people, making everyone feel comfortable and calm."

For those who wish to pay their respects, his remains lie in state for viewing at Don Bosco Memorial Chapels on Pasay Road, Makati.

We pray that you are in a better place now, Gerry. Thank you for gracing this world with your brilliant talent and comforting presence. You will always be remembered.
