Celebrated Filipino designer Frederick Peralta had unfortunately fallen ill mid last year. His friends from the industry were quick to take action to help and mounted "Federico: An Exhibit and Trunk Show Sale," where some of his iconic designs from his archives were sold and auctioned off to raise funds for his medical needs.
As a follow up this year, with still a number of covetable pieces from his vast archive available, his friends are once again hosting a fund-raising trunk show for the designer. Known for dressing society mavens and celebrities alike in his masterfully-crafted evening gowns and suits, you can purchase one or more of his couture creations at an average price of P2500 for jersey dresses and P5000 to P10,000 for formal gowns. A number of barons and suits will also be on sale. While majority of the pieces would fit a size 4, as they were worn by models for the various fashion shows and shoots he participated in, there are still many beautiful options to choose from. Younger readers would do well to hunt for a prom or debut dress in these racks.
