With two episodes already released on Netflix, Hometown ChaChaCha quickly topped the ratings in South Korea. Since we are currently on our toes to see what happens next to the "Dimple Couple," we actually saw the interesting dynamic between the two leads right from the start. You probably already know what we're talking about if you're caught up with the series!

In the 1st episode, Yoon Hye-jin (Shin Min Ah) quits her job as a dentist when she had enough of the chief doctor's hypocrite ways of treating their patients. Within the first eight minutes, we watch her remove her doctor's coat and walk out for good.

As we all can relate to whenever we're having a bad day, Hye-jin meets up with her best friend Mi-seon to break the news of her suddenly quitting her job, in which her friend asks, "Is that why bought those shoes as soon as you quit?"

"Of course. I gifted myself a little something for my retirement. The underlying message is 'Better days to come,'" Hye-jin replies back while holding onto a bright red shopping bag.

The exact heels Shin Min Ah wore in "Hometown Chachacha" Episode 1

Aside from the gorgeous outdoor dining area and her classy white blazer that almost had us distracted, we could clearly see the cursive logo in front. In case you didn't know, Roger Vivier is a French designer brand that offers luxurious fashion accessories. Most of their heels are designed with attention to its fit and structure—a symbol of what the brand prioritizes which is comfort and style. Hye-jin's silver heels, however, is called Flower Strass Buckle Pumps in Fabrics. The heels were exclusively made from glittered fabric that are embellished with a jewelled buckle crafted in flower-shaped crystal appliqués and an attractive, thin Sin heel. Did we also mention that it retails for $1995 or approximately almost P100,000?

It is a known fact that Roger Vivier's shoes hold jaw-dropping price tags, but it comes with good reason! According to Michael Fink, senior fashion director at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York City, he reveals that it's all about the materials they use—the premium leather, fabric textures, wood types, expensive jewels, handmade beads to scarce resource of feathers. "Roger Vivier shoes have a specific curved heel, and the way it is attached to the footbed is very mechanical and difficult, so you're paying for engineering, too," Fink further explains.

Honestly, buying new pumps, no matter how much, is defintiely a good purchase to invest in especially when you deserve to be comfy and you're ready to take on the world so you can find yourself again. In Hye-jin's case, she chose this specific pair to accompany her trip back to her hometown in the seaside village of Gongjin (even if she did lose a pair along the way!).
