Enrico Carado Delves Into Ready-to-wear The PEFTA designer embarks on a new adventure: ready-to-wear.

Enrico Carado, he of the manipulated denim craftsmanship, the purveyor of unabashedly bold and detailed dresses, is setting on a new path in his fashion design journey.

This year, he launched his first ever ready-to-wear collection, giving everyone easy access to his eyecatching designs. This first collection features six dresses of batik print in various silhouettes: a simple sheath, perfect for working ladies; bustier dresses, for sexy nights out; and a box-pleated dress, apt for girly daytime dressing. The striking batik is framed and foiled by black fabric panels or skin-tone leather in some dresses, making it all the more visually arresting.

The dresses retail from P3000 to P4000, and are available at the Enrico Carado atelier (for details, click on his Designer Directory). You can also shop for some of his pieces online at Designer Row at TheMall.ph. To know more about the collection and Enrico's latest venture, pick up a copy of this month's Preview magazine.
