Dua Lipa Kicks Off Italian Wedding Weekend in a Leather Dress

After tying the knot with a civil ceremony in London, Dua Lipa and Callum Turner are officially in Italy to get the real party started. The couple are celebrating their nuptials with a three-day wedding weekend in Sicily, which they kicked off with an outdoor cocktail affair in the island of Palermo.

The couple were captured all loved up during the festivities. Dua, in particular, was a vision in a custom Bottega Veneta halter neck dress. The daring leather material and plunging back is a far contrast from her Schiaparelli court wedding look, punctuating their transition from business to all out pleasure.

In true Bottega Veneta fashion, Dua’s frock also featured the brand’s signature intrecciato weave, complete with a fanciful, feathery mermaid-style skirt and a clutch to match. Much like her London ensemble, the Don’t Start Now singer sparkled brilliantly in Bvlgari jewelry, that included a watch, bangle, and a choker necklace.

Her husband complemented her with a dashing look of his own. Callum was equal parts sharp and laid back in a beige linen Jacquemus suit over an open, button-up shirt, brown loafers, and black Jacques Marie Mage shades.

If you weren't jealous of this power couple yet, fans also couldn’t help but notice that the party setup paid homage to their origin story. ICYDK, Dua and Callum hit it up in 2024 at a restaurant in Los Angeles. The two discovered they were reading the same book, Trust by Hernan Diaz, and had both just finished with the first chapter. Hence, the standout bookshelf decor they've got going on.

Dua and Callum are set to tie the knot once more in Sicily with a star-studded guest list. In attendance are the likes of Troye Sivan, Charli xcx, Joe Alwyn, Mark Ronson, Tove Lo, Grace Gummer, and George Daniel, among others.
