3. Virgil Abloh launches a jewelry brand.

Virgil Abloh has officially taken on jewelry design and, in true Virgil fashion, he turned the humble office paper clips into a stylish must-have. He told WWD that the line, which includes earrings and other accessories, is hinged on his idea of making "high jewelry for all." He added, "It’s a crash–it’s a paper clip, but it’s also pavé diamonds made in a very specific way."

4. Chinese model from the Dolce & Gabbana ad campaign claims it almost ruined her career. 

Model Zuo Ye finally speaks out amidst the racism controversy surrounding Dolce & Gabbana's cancelled The Great Show in Shanghai. Zuo Ye appeared in the trio of the luxury brand's campaign videos, which were uploaded days leading up to the runway show. According to the Chinese model, the incident almost ruined her career and that "she received threats, online attacks, and harassment following the outcry," CNN reports.

On her Weibo account, the model also apologized for her role in the controversial ads. She said, "I never and would never bear anything disrespectful to my home country. I'm deeply in love with my country and proud to be a Chinese [being sent] on international runways."
