What the bride wears on her special day certainly speaks volumes of her personality. For Dr. Geraldine Zamora, she's chosen to highlight her life's vocation in her own wedding. Dr. Ging, as everyone around her fondly calls her, recently got hitched to fellow doctor, Dr. Sonny Abrahan in an intimate wedding yesterday at San Pedro Calungsod Parish. The two sealed the deal clad in matching white scrub suits, embroidered with the names.

They went twinning in PPEs made by designer and cardiac nurse Adrian Pe, who became internet-famous for his fun take on personal protective equipment suits like his Teletubby-themed pieces he made for Iloilo frontliners and Power Rangers-themed hazmats.

Bespoke Manila, who helped coordinate this "pandemic-sensitive" wedding, shared on their IG stories that Adrian has previously worked with Dr. Ging and made her a custom PPE scrub jumpsuit that she loved using. He also made the couple matching white scrubs that sparked the idea to wear it for their nuptials. Adrian writes in a post on Instagram, "As suggested by Ms. @krisaquino, they chose to wear scrubs as their wedding garments as it touches the very core of their service; doing God's work in healing. As a cardiac nurse, I can only say that matters of the heart transcends the unconquerable."
Bespoke Manila further shares that Dr. Ging once said, "While it is said that we should wear our best before God, Sonny and I are at our best when we serve as His instruments of healing." Aww!

Dr. Ging styled her scrub suit with a pretty delicate long veil and slipped on a pair of gold Gucci strappy heels. She also carried a gorgeous bridal bouquet made by florist Teddy Manuel. Meanwhile, the groom paired his custom PPE with white sneakers.

Congratulations to the newlyweds!
