Kate Upton, Kim Kardashian, Marian Rivera, and Heart Evangelista are all gorgeous in different ways, but if there’s one thing we’re sure they all have in common, it’s that they’re all well-endowed. They are blessed with a gift others can only dream about, but the truth is, being top heavy also has its pros and cons. The pros are pretty obvious but there are a bunch of disadvantages, too. Unlike the twigs of this world, women with big balloons can’t wear whatever they like without the risk of looking raunchy; they also need to endure that heavy (and sometimes suffocating) feeling when playing sports because of the constricting feeling a sports bra can give. Topping it all off, these ladies are most prone to the annoying men who stare like there’s no tomorrow—don’t even get us started with those who pair it with a whistle and a nasty comment!
So while some of us would rather flaunt it, especially if you have special talents to back it up like Karen from the movie Mean Girls over here.
We would rather you guys dress tastefully for your body. Scroll down so we can begin our #boobtalk.
DON'T WEAR A PUSH UP BRA
If from the basic underwear you're already doing it wrong, then it won't even matter what you wear. Unlike others who need it, you on the other hand will have no use for the extra support and cushion. While the best type would have to be a sports bra, it's not always the best choice for a fashion girl. Simply stick to the basic ones with no underwire or whatsoever. Also keep in mind that fit is of utmost importance. A bra that's too small will squish your ballons and give you even more cleavage, while one that is too big will make you appear like you're blessed more than you already are.
DO WEAR A BRA
It's not always the advisable to flaunt what you've got with boob-baring tops. If you want to stay classy, keep your assets on the down low and save showing them off for a special occassion. Hey, after all, we're not all Kim K's.
Style tip: Here's a nice look from a lady who became famous for her massive blessings, Kate Upton.
When she's not busy portraying a sexy vixen, she's actually quite consistent with finding ways to conceal her rack. For a fun change, try wearing that corset you can never use with a plain tee.
DO NOT WEAR A BRALET
If there is one kind of top that would make your C cups look like double D's, it would have to be the bralet. Please, please stay away from this kind of top at all costs.
Style tip: If you really want to show off your flat abs, then wear a crop top. They're fine as long as they cover the cleavage area. See how Glee's Naya Rivera
and Victoria's Secret Angel Candice Swanepoel do it.
LEARN TO LAYER
Layering with a blazer, a cardigan, a parka, or even a kimono is one of the easiest ways to camouflage those bumps.
DO NOT WEAR SHEER
Don't wear sheer with a plunging neckline, that is. It's just screaming too much and that's not the look we want you ladies to go for. Say never to this top from badgal Rihanna, will you?
Style tip: If you like the see-through trend so much, do it the right way. See how Miranda Kerr wears hers. It's all about stategic placements of the sheer fabric.
DO WEAR A SHIFT DRESS
We know the bodycon will highlight your amazing curves, but a nice drop-waist or shift will gladly make you look as if you're flat chested. Yes! Prints can also do the concealing trick quite well.
Katy Perry easily pulled off the skimpy look using her florals.
DO NOT WEAR LONG NECKLACES
Long necklaces that graze over your bosom will highlight your mounds. Stick to shorter ones that will show off your decolletage instead.
DO WEAR A LOOSE BUTTON DOWN
If it's tight and you feel like the buttons are ready to pop at anytime, it's time to let them go because we don't want to see that. The oversized variety are on trend anyway.
ALWAYS PRIORITIZE THE FIT
Whether it's all white,
dark and fitted,
or warm and fuzzy, all you need to remember is that getting a top on your size is crucial to looking like a woman who knows what to do with her goods.
Understand your body and be confident with what you have.
