Divine's Sash Session A fashion emergency solved by Kermit's quick thinking and Divine's resource of a closet.

You wouldn't have guessed it if you saw how fabulously decked out she was during the Preview Best Dressed Ball, but Divine Lee actually had quite the fashion emergency the night before the big bash. Her Kermit Tesoro outfit didn't turn out exactly as they expected, so they had to tweak it last minute to make the ensemble work.

Divine's original inspiration for her outfit was Jennifer Lopez's glitzy, webbed catsuit in her On the Floor video, so Kermit created a beautifully sequined piece for her, which she tried on the night prior to the Preview Ball. Divine found out, however, that the ensemble, while pretty, looked too close to Cirque du Soleil's Varekai costumes for comfort—so Kermit quickly whipped up a solution.

They found an emergency peg in Blake Lively's sexy Chanel 2009 Couture grecian-draped bodysuit, which she wore to the 2011 Met Gala.

Repurposing an old Charina Sarte dress that Divine had in her closet, Kermit draped and sewed it on Divine, adding a fab, last-minute sash to the sequined bodysuit.

The result: a fierce ensemble that has all the glitter and sheen of '70s. Sexy and ostentatiously chic, Divine shone in the outfit all night, catching eyes throughout 7th High as she danced the disco night away.
