The biggest fashion houses' Cruise 2017 collections have been trotting around the globe—Chanel in Cuba, Louis Vuitton in Rio, and now Dior in London.
The French fashion house returns to the Blenheim Palace where Christian Dior himself staged a show to benefit the Red Cross 62 years earlier. But as always, the luxury label took decadence to a whole new level. They brought in guests aboard the Dior Blenheim Express, the chicest train ride in the world.
Guests—including A-listers, editors, and VIPs—enjoyed a three-course lunch, with wine in one hand and champagne in the other. British Fashion Chairman Natalie Massenet even raised a glass cheering “J’adore Dior!” as they basked in the beauty of the British countryside.
Upon reaching the destination, a stretch of more than 100 black Mercedes-Benz cars transported the guests into the Palace to enjoy the preserved royal rooms that were transformed into a makeshift runway.
