T. Swift was off to a great start. Yesterday she released her most important music video to date, Bad Blood, which featured all her model and singer BFFs. Sadly, her 15 minutes of fame was cut short all thanks to none other than Beyoncé.
Not to be outdone, Bey and Nicki Minaj dropped their monster collab, Feeling Myself, showing Tay and her band of millennial fans how girl hanging is done.
Seeing that all is fair in love, war and the battle of billboard toppers, we weigh in on who’s got the better video. Let’s begin.
ROUND 1: CASTING
Selena Gomez: check. Victoria’s Secret Angels: check. Cindy Crawford: check! When it comes to having friends in high places, Taylor proves she’s capable of pulling the strings. Beyoncé and Nikki on the other hand prefer to keep it intimate. Maybe the pool just ain’t big enough?

ROUND 2: STYLING
We get it; trying not to recreate a Britney video is hard when all your pals are around. But seriously, Bad Blood just felt way too pegged and over-styled. (Don’t deny that you saw the Toxic, Sucker Punch, Resident Evil, Matrix, and Tron references right there.) Beyoncé on the other hand keeps it cool in a kiddie pool while sporting fur, a Bulls one piece, a bucket hat, and magenta lipstick—styling is totes on fleek!

ROUND 3: PRODUCTION
Taylor managed to build up hype by way of teaser videos and promotional posters. The video doesn’t fail to deliver either with its impressive cinematography, choreography, and visual effects. Beyoncé keeps it on the low down and attacks when you least expect. A master in the art of fast-edit videos, Feeling Myself was shot entirely during one weekend at this year’s Coachella festival.
