HOW DO YOU UNWIND?
CHOC: Biking with my husband. And boxing once in awhile.
YVETTE: I spend time with my family and friends, have a massage with Mart, exercise to destress and be fit, boxing, Pilates, I play golf with the gang, I go to our salon, Studio 546, for some pampering.
FAVORITE SHOPPING AND TRAVEL DESTINATIONS?
CHOC AND YVETTE: Hong Kong and New York! We’ve been to Tokyo once but we loved the place too!
DO YOU COLLECT ANYTHING?
CHOC AND YVETTE: Yes! Love, laughter, good memories and wonderful relationships!
WHAT MUSIC DO YOU LISTEN TO? FILMS YOU WATCH? BOOKS YOU READ?
CHOC: House and R&B. I’m reading about what to expect during the toddler years.
YVETTE: I am not so much into music! I haven’t had the time to watch movies but I always read Daily Word everyday. I also love to read books on business, retail and interior design.
OTHER PASTIMES, PASSIONS, INTERESTS ASIDE FROM FASHION?
CHOC: I love to travel. I also enjoy cooking.
YVETTE: Golf, tennis, traveling and shopping. I also love interior design!
WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST EXTRAVAGANCE?
CHOC: Bags, before.
WHAT PROFESSION DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN IF YOU WEREN’T A DESIGNER?
CHOC: Probably a chef.
YVETTE: Interior designer but I wish I were a professional tennis player. Haha!
WHAT CAN WE LOOK FORWARD TO FROM YOU AS A DESIGNER?
CHOC: We’ll create more exciting designs and come up with what is not available in the market.
WHAT DO YOU THINK THE PHILIPPINE FASHION INDUSTRY NEEDS MOST IN ORDER TO FLOURISH?
CHOC: More exposure for filipino designers. Fashion shows that would attract buyers from other countries.
YVETTE : Better economy and tourism!!!
DO YOU HAVE ANY ADVICE FOR ASPIRING DESIGNERS?
CHOC: Be passionate with what you’re doing.
YVETTE: Go for it! Important things they should value are high quality, good fit, and meeting deadlines!
