Everything You Need to Know About Jennylyn Mercado’s Premiere Night Look Exclusive details straight from the designer here!

There were a lot of firsts for Jennylyn Mercado at the premiere night of her new movie, Just the Three of Us. It’s her first movie under Star Cinema, first time to be paired with John Lloyd Cruz, and first time to work with director Cathy Garcia-Molina.

What wasn’t new though was the fact that she wore another creation by Jot Losa. Styled by AJ Alberto, Jen donned a flirty blush pink jumpsuit, baring her cleavage with double slits to match.

Here’s what the designer has to say about the look.

Did you have any pegs for this look?

We (AJ and I) haven’t really thought of pegs for this. We just took into consideration making a sexy jumpsuit that is comfortable and will not hinder her movements.

Why did you pick the romantic color for her?

We had two jumpsuit options and we really pushed for this one. One is in magenta and then this blush pink number in crepe fabric—she chose the latter. We think it’s perfect since it totally reflects her character in the movie, which is sweet and quirky at the same time.

It's super nice what you did with the slits! Can you please talk about that?

Although it has already been done a billion times, we really wanted a plain deep V jumpsuit so we thought of adding slits that show when you walk. It’s fun and sexy, yet it still evokes class.

You’ve dressed Jennylyn before, what’s the one thing she requires when it comes to her clothes? Does she have pet peeves?

I started creating for Jennylyn on her FHM cover and then it was followed by a piece for her TV show Starstruck. To be honest, she doesn’t have any pet peeves at all! Kahit ano she’ll wear as long as it fits perfectly. She’s really particular when it comes to that. It should also show her curves and also put an emphasis on how tiny her waist is—after all, she worked hard for it so it's just proper to flaunt it.
